- [ MacBooz 2.0 ]
-
- Here is the Zoo archival program that several people have been asking
- me about. This application, MacBooz, implements the features of Booz,
- the "Bare-bones Zoo extracting program" written by Rahul Dhesi (also
- the author of the original Zoo for MS-DOS, VAX VMS, and Unix).
-
- Several people have ported Booz to the Mac before, but no one has
- adapted it to use the Macintosh user interface. This application
- includes the best of both worlds: Macintosh functionality and looks,
- Unix features and utilities.
-
- One feature worth pointing out is the wild-card selection ability.
- Using a syntax matching what you would expect from a Unix system, you
- can choose what files you would like to extract, without having to
- shift-click on all of them.
-
- I believe that the application is self-explanatory, but feel free to
- contact me for questions or to recommend improvements.
-
- Thanks to aron@garnet.berkeley.edu and rce10845@uxa.cso.uiuc.edu for
- their help and input.
